2:47 pm	Exchange Email Logon Prompts (Resolved) Some users may have experienced logon prompts or connection issues with the exchange mail. The issue has been discovered and staff are working towards a resolution. Updates will be posted as they are available

2:01 pm	Mailhub Mailauth servers config change to limit sends from compromised netids (Resolved) The mailhub mailauth servers were used to send a significant amount of spam overnight using a compromised netid. Once the session was authenticated, a spammer could send lots of email through. Configurations have been modified to try to prevent this in the future.

6:26 am	Sweeney Hall Network Equipment Upgrade (Completed) ITS Networks & Communications staff will be upgrading ethernet switches in Sweeney Hall on the morning of Wednesday, February 22 starting at approximately 6:00 a.m. During the upgrade, data service in the building will be temporarily unavailable. Actual downtime for each connection will be much shorter than the specified window, but users should expect limited connectivity at any time during the upgrade. The upgrade is expected to be complete by 7:00 a.m.

4:33 pm	Virtual Server Environment hardware updates (Completed) Firmware updates will be done to a portion of the hardware servers that support the virtual server environment. No downtime is expected for any services during this time. All VMs will run from the secondary data center during the update process and the primary site will be unavailable until the upgrades are completed. This will complete the upgrade work for both data centers.
7:39 am	Mainframe firewall upgrade (Completed) The firewall for the mainfame will be upgraded. We only expect actual downtime of around 10-15 minutes. Some systems that could be impacted are AccessPlus and ADIN.

6:51 am	Town Engineering Network Equipment Upgrade (Completed) ITS Networks & Communications staff will be upgrading ethernet switches in Town Engineering on the morning of Thursday, February 16 starting at approximately 6:00 a.m. During the upgrade, data service in the building will be temporarily unavailable. Actual downtime for each connection will be much shorter than the specified window, but users should expect limited connectivity at any time during the upgrade. The upgrade is expected to be complete by 7:00 a.m.
