17 Jul 2008 05:00 Scheduled Network Outage (Completed)
Ethernet service equipment, connecting computers to the Internet, will be upgraded in the following buildings:

-- Helser Residence Hall
-- Friley Residence Hall
-- Eaton Residence Hall
-- Martin Residence Hall
-- Wallace Residence Hall
-- Knapp-Storms Commons

During the upgrade, computers in the listed buildings will lose connection to the campus network and the Internet. Computers utilizing NetReg DHCP in these buildings may receive a different IP address in the same network range. Generally, such IP address changes
will not affect computer usability.

While users should be prepared for network services to be unavailable during the entire outage, actual network downtime for each user is anticipated to be less than 15 minutes.
