8:00 am	Moira (ASW) Upgrade - NEW DATE The Moira DB server which supports ASW will be upgraded with new hardware and software. All Moira-based services (e.g. List updates, NetReg and Net-ID Registrations, etc) will be unavailable during this upgrade.

4:47 pm	Voice Mail (Audix) is currently unavailable Resolved At this time the Voice Mail system is unavailable. Users will not be able to create or access messages. Staff is working to resolve the issue. An expected up time is not yet known.

8:22 am	Panopto Server Down for Upgrade Completed The Panopto server will be going down on Thursday, May 16th, at about 8:00 am to upgrade storage. This is expected to take several hours. During this time local sessions can continue to be recorded but will not be able to be uploaded or processed until the server comes back online. Existing content will not be available for viewing.

3:56 pm	Google Search Appliance - Additional Software Update Open IT Services, Web Development Services, will be performing additional updates to the Google Search Appliance. The GSA is used to serve search results for many Iowa State websites including the main homepage (www.iastate.edu). There may be intermittent outages for up to 20 minutes at a time. During the stages of the upgrade, search results may be slow and incomplete.

3:53 pm	OrgFiles Maintenance Open Monday May 20th at 5PM IT Services Storage Administrators will be performing maintenance on OrgFiles in preparation for domain controller upgrades. OrgFiles will be unreachable at times during the maintenance. The maintenance may last for several hours.

7:02 am	switch upgrade in data centers Completed On Friday, May 17, starting at 5:00 am, the fiber channel and 10 gigabit switches for the Data Centers in Durham and ASB will be upgraded to current software. Since these switches are redundant, it is anticipated that this will have little to no impact on services. However, server administrators should be prepared to check their individual services once the upgrade is done.

9:59 pm	Blackboard scheduled upgrade - May 16 Completed Blackboard will be unavailable on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 5:00 pm until Friday, May 17, 2013 at 6:00 a.m. due to maintenance to the system. This will include the update to Service Pack 11.

10:57 am	Kuali System Upgrade - May 18 Open There will be an upgrade to the Kuali System this Saturday morning (starting at 8 AM). We are anticipating that it will take all morning, and will be back early afternoon. This upgrade will cause all applications that are integrated with the Kuali routing system to be unavailable. A few AccessPlus systems are impacted. These included the Kuali action list on the AccessPlus Home Tab/In Basket, the Voucher routing system, the ITS leave request system, and the Course Offering Change system. Other AccessPlus systems should see no impact.

10:29 pm	dns-1 and dns-3 DNS service restart Completed On Wednesday, May 15, 2013, starting at 10:00 p.m., the named process on dns-1 and dns-3 (two of our three off-campus non-resursive DNS servers) will be restarted to make a configuration change. No on-campus users will be affected by these restarts. This same configuration change was made to dns-2 on April 23rd.
9:08 am	BlackBerry Server Maintenance Completed Maintenance is being performed on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. All impacted users have been contacted.
