These instructions will help you set up Outlook 2011 for ISU Exchange. These instructions apply to all Macintosh computers that are running on campus that do not require a VPN connection to access the network.

1. The Account Setup Assistant should automatically start the first time you open Outlook 2011. If it does not, go to Tools > Accounts and click "Exchange Account".
2. On the Accounts Window type in the following information:
   • Email Address: yournetid@mail.iastate.edu
   • Method: "User Name and Password"
   • User name: yournetid
   • Password: your NET-ID password
   • Mark the box to "Configure automatically"
3. Click on the "Add Account" button.
4. You will get an alert message stating that "Outlook was redirected to the server exchange.iastate.edu to get new settings for your account…" :
   • Mark the box to "Always use my response for this server".
   • Click on the "Allow" button.
5. Close the "Accounts" window. Outlook is now ready to use.
