Email Phishing Scams: Do Not Reply!

The latest email scam making the rounds claims that you have used up your disk space for email or that the email system is being upgraded and, because of that, you must confirm your email identity or else you will lose your email account. This is not true. Do not reply to or click on links in these emails!

If you receive such an email, delete it and do not respond. If you did respond, immediately go to https://asw.iastate.edu/cgi-bin/acropoli...r/password, and change your password.

Iowa State University, IT Services, or the Solution Center will never ask you to send your password or other confidential personal information via email.
