Engaging Students Online: ISU Course Showcase on April 28

The annual WebCT Show-and-Tell event will be held on Tuesday, April 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in 1230 Communications Building. Featured are Nancy Gruden-Shuck, Associate Professor, Agricultural Education and Studies; Rema Nilakanta, Instructor, Curriculum and Instruction; and Linda Westgate, Introductory Biology Teaching Lab Coordinator, who will share their experiences using the WebCT GOLD online learning environment to engage students in face-to-face and distance learning courses.
Attendees will also get a preview of “Next Generation” upgrades to come in WebCT GOLD and discuss ideas for sharing effective practices in e-learning. Pizza and drinks will be provided. There is no charge to attend but pre-registration is requested.
