A software video tutorial service called Lynda.com is being piloted for the campus community. With a three-year site license, this service benefits faculty, staff, and students across campus by providing on-demand learning anywhere at any time. The online repository of video and tutorials and project files cover a multitude of commercial and open-source software applications from leading vendors and community projects.

To access the tutorials from any computer on campus, go to: http://iplogin.lynda.com/

To access the tutorials from off campus, you must go through the VPN client. Instructions are available at: http://www.it.iastate.edu/lynda/

The cost of the three-year site license is supported by a CAC (Computation Advisory Committee) grant along with additional funding from six colleges, University Extension, IT Services, and Parks Library.
