BlackBerry Wireless Activation
This document provides step-by-step information on how to wirelessly activate your BlackBerry to communicate with the IT Services Exchange server.
Wireless Activation Steps
Ensure that IT Services BlackBerry administrators have added your Exchange account to the BlackBerry server and have sent you an activation password.
Ensure that the device has been activated through your wireless provider and that the wireless connection is enabled on the device.
- Select Setup Wizard
- Select Email Setup
- Select I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server
- Select Next
- Select Yes
- Enter your Exchange mailbox address: netid@mail.adp.iastate.edu
- Enter password: isu
- Press Menu button
- Select Activate
