Sales and Repair

Several options are available at Iowa State for purchasing computer hardware and software, or repairing hardware, for both personal and departmental use.

Sales

When purchasing a computer for use at Iowa State University or one that will be used to access the campus network it is important to follow the Desktop Computer Standards.

Computer Sales

Computer Sales is the primary source for purchasing computer hardware, software, and peripherals on campus. Most products are priced with academic discounts and are available to Iowa State students, faculty, staff, and departments with certain eligibility requirements.

Computer Sales also works with departments to analyze their needs and acquire appropriate equipment. Workstations, hardware, software, and other computer equipment are available for departments to purchase, lease, or rent.

University Bookstore

The University Bookstore, located in the Memorial Union, also sells and offers educational discounts on computer hardware, software, and electronics.

Repair
