64-bit optimized Solaris UltraSPARC and Solaris x86-64.
Students can receive a copy of Mathematica for Students for their individual use on Class A platforms.
ACCESSING MATHEMATICA: To access the software you must first contact Software Asset Management shown below. Ask to be granted access to the Mathematica fileshare. After you've been granted access to the fileshare site you should do the following: navigate to where Mathematica is stored on the ISU network. The address for the fileshare is \\mcacd3\mathematica\mathematica ver7.0.1.0 Once you're there you need to burn your own installation dvd from the Mathematica_ver7.iso file stored there. This disc image contains Windows, Macintosh and Linux/Unix versions of the software. Install from the DVD that you make, and use the appropriate password file, which is also stored there in a .txt file. Linux/Unix users must contact Wolfram Research for a unique password. |
