Test and Evaluation Services

The access point for Test and Evaluation Services is the Solution Center, 195 Durham Center. Supported services include scoring exams, scoring surveys, and producing statistical reports of the results for the educational community at Iowa State and a variety of external clients. Instructor evaluations are also processed within a standard set of options.

Exam results are provided in electronic forms that can be used by instructors with other gradebook software or spreadsheets. Faculty are also encouraged to look at the gradekeeping features of WebCT, which includes online access by students and automatic transfer of final grades.

Submittal Forms

Each test submitted to Test and Evaluation Services for scoring must be accompanied by a submittal form. This section describes the forms and includes a downloadable PDF version of each form.

Charges

Central funding from Iowa State University provides for both the bubble sheets and class-related scanning done for instructors. Research or evaluation scanning that does not pertain to a class incurs a charge; scanning done for classes takes priority over other scanning. This section includes a chart of the charges for various services.
