Students

Depending on where a student lives on campus, basic telephone service may be provided as part of the room / apartment rate. Basic telephone service includes unlimited local calling; automatic callback, call waiting, hold, last number dialed, transfer, and three-way calling; and access to the ISU long-distance network (domestic and international)

Frederiksen Court - Basic telephone service is provided, at no charge, in all apartments. There is one phone line per bedroom and one line for the kitchen / living room area. Residents must supply their own phone and connection cords. Long distance service can be accessed with your personal authorization code.

SUV - Telephone service is available for a monthly fee. Residents can contract for telephone service on AccessPlus. Click on telephone services and choose the appropriate option. The monthly charge for basic service is $15.00. Only one resident in each apartment is billed for basic service. Authorization codes are not required for long distance calls.

Residence Halls - The provision of basic phone service varies in the residence halls. Beginning fall 2009, those residence halls that have been upgraded to wireless Internet service will no longer have basic phone service provided as part of the room fee. Residents in these buildings can contract for telephone service through AccessPlus. Click on Telephone Services and choose the appropriate option.

In residence halls that have not yet been upgraded with wireless internet service, basic phone service is provided as part of the room rate. Residents must supply their own phone and connection cords. Long distance service can be accessed with your personal authorization code.

Residents of Schilletter Village and University Village must arrange for basic service. The monthly charge for basic service is $15.00. Only one resident in each apartment is billed for basic service. Students living in family housing are not required to use authorization codes. Apply for basic service through AccessPlus. Click on telephone services and choose the appropriate option.
