Authorization Codes
Personal authorization codes (seven digits) allow students living in a residence hall or single apartment to place long distance calls from any restricted line on campus.
The authorization code is available on AccessPlus. There is no charge for the code, only for the calls you place. Rates are very reasonable - 5 cents per minute, any day, any time!
Each month you will receive an electronic statement detailing charges and long distance calls. The total will appear on your Accounts Receivable Statement along with any other university charges for that month. This information is available on AccessPlus. Charges must be paid monthly to avoid loss of service and incurring a $10.00 reactivation charge.
If you have questions about your statement, please call the Solution Center at 515-294-4000 or visit them in 195 Durham Center. In addition to regular office hours, the Solution Center also has evening and weekend hours.
Important: You are responsible for all calls placed using your authorization code. Do not give this information to anyone! Contact IT Services, 195 Durham Center, 515-294-4000, if your code is lost or stolen.
