At an April 21 short course, you can learn the steps you can take to secure a Linux desktop machine and arrange to keep it secure with a minimum of effort. For maximum benefit, you should be familiar with the Linux command line and the K Desktop Environment before attending this seminar.

The course will be held from 3:10 to 5:00 pm in 89 Durham Center. Pre-registration is required although there is no charge for the class. Register with IT Services at http://www.it.iastate.edu/training/css/ (class code FA0010).
