IT Services is kicking off a security education campaign during October, which is National Cyber Security Awareness Month. Different topics will be covered each month through the remainder of the academic year. October topics include protecting your computer from viruses and spyware.

As part of October's information, Solution Center staff will be visiting residence hall locations to provide in-person security assistance. Included are:

Tuesday, October 24 -- 7 pm to 9 pm
Frederiksen / Hawthorn Market area

Wednesday, October 25 -- 11 am to 2 pm
RCA -- MWL Commons

Thursday, October 26 -- 11 am to 2 pm
UDA Community Center (area adjacent to Clyde's and C-store)

Staff will answer questions about installing and updating free anti-virus and anti-spyware software as well as other security concerns.
