Microsoft recently released a critical security patch for Windows (MS07-017) to address a vulnerability that could allow an attacker to remotely execute code to take control of a system. This patch is considered extremely critical and should be installed as soon as possible.

After installing the patch, you must reboot your computer before the update will be effective. IT Services recommends you save files, close applications, and reboot when prompted.
