The Departments of Mathematics and Information Technology Services extend their invitation to you to attend a presentation by representatives of Wolfram Research, Inc., the Mathematica People. Mark your calendars if you are interested in attending this program.

This talk illustrates capabilities in Mathematica 6 that are directly applicable for use in teaching and research on campus. Topics include:
* 2D and 3D visualization
* Dynamic interactivity
* On-demand scientific data
* Example-driven course materials
* Symbolic interface construction
* Practical and theoretical applications

Pre-registration is not necessary and there is no cost to attend. However, seating is limited to 60 so you'll want to arrive on time to assure a seat.

Current Mathematica users will benefit from seeing the many improvements and new features of Mathematica 6 (, but prior knowledge of Mathematica is not required.
