Email allegedly from the IASTATE.EDU message center has been circulating, again, on campus. One of the latest versions indicates that we‘re upgrading our data base and email account center, as well as deleting unused IASTATE.EDU email accounts to create more space for new accounts.

This is not from IT Services and it‘s not true.

If you receive such an email, delete it and do not respond. If you did respond, immediately go to https://asw.iastate.edu/cgi-bin/acropolis/user/password, and change your password.

Iowa State University, IT Services, or the Solution Center will never ask you to send your password or other confidential personal information via email.

If you have questions, contact the Solution Center at 515-294-4000, email at , or in person at 195 Durham Center.
