Collaborate Green: Videoconference!

This news item expired February 12, 2009. It may contain out-of-date information.
In these times of environmental awareness and budgetary concerns, videoconferencing stands out as a technology that can both reduce our carbon footprint and save time and money. Videoconferencing enables people to collaborate across campus, or across the world, without the need for polluting and costly travel.

Learn how to help the environment, enable productivity, and save money at the same time, by videoconferencing! IT Services is offering a free 60-minute short course on videoconferencing. The course provides an overview of videoconferencing and includes a demonstration, discussion of various desktop software packages, and an introduction to videoconferencing tools supported by IT Services.

This course will be held Wednesday, February 11, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in 206 Durham Center. Sign up on the IT Services Course Registration Form: http://www.it.iastate.edu/training/courses/application.php.
