Net-ID Account Suspensions
To be eligible for an account, you must fulfill one of these requirements:
-- Enrolled in class since fall 2009 or later
-- Have been paid since July 2009 or later (not X, XH, or C payclass)
-- Be an emeritus faculty member
-- Sponsored by full-time Iowa State employee in the last 6 months
Is my account going to expire?
You can check if your account is going to expire by going to https://asw.iastate.edu/cgi-bin/acropolis/sponsor/check and entering your Net-ID.
What happens if my account is suspended?
When an account is suspended, it will no longer be able to:
-- Log in to Iowa State services such as email, CyMail, WebMail, and WebCT.
-- Use authenticated services, such as public computer labs.
-- Save new files in online file space.
-- Retain a personal webpage at http://xxxxxxxx.public.iastate.edu/.
What will I be able to do after my account is suspended?
If your account is suspended, mail can still be forwarded and you can access your file space until early next semester.
