Iowa State Helps Launch Kuali Foundation Open-Source HR/Payroll Initiative

Iowa State has partnered with Indiana University and VivanTech for the launch of a new project under the Kuali Foundation. Kuali People Management for the Enterprise (KPME) is an open-source system built for Human Resources offices in Higher Ed and includes components for HR administration, payroll, benefits, leave management and others. Maury Hope, Associate CIO at Iowa State, is the chair of the KPME Project Board and Carla Espinoza, Associate Vice President for Human Resource Services at Iowa State, is chair of the KPME Functional Council.
