Improved Wireless Access Coming to Campus

This news item expired February 15, 2011. It may contain out-of-date information.
Funded by a grant from the Computational Advisory Committee (CAC), IT Services will soon begin work on installing 100 additional wireless access points around campus. Half of the new access points will be installed in high-traffic wireless spots on campus. These new access points will be networked, allowing for speedier connections. Students will get to vote on where the remaining new access points will be located. Jennifer Lohrbach, ITS Senior Systems Analyst, is the leader of this project.
