ITS Hiring Student PHP Programmers
ITS Web Development Services is seeking one or more PHP WEB DEVELOPERS.
SUMMER 2011 AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED!
DUTIES: Develop and maintain web services for Information Technology Services and other Iowa State University departments. Work includes programming, database design, testing and evaluating web services, maintaining client content, web server maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
IDEAL: Ideal candidates will be underclassmen with at least three semesters remaining and interested in long term student employment. These candidates will have a genuine interest in web development but may have little or no professional experience. Familiarity with PHP/MySQL development is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be familiar with standard web principles and concepts; be able to work in a team environment as well as independently; be detail-oriented, creative, and self-motivated; and have strong communication skills and facility with standard American English.
TERMS: This is a continuous employment opportunity for 15-20 hours/week during the regular school year and up to 40 hours/week during the summer.
