Two new email scams have been appearing in Iowa State email inboxes. The first email appears to originate from Iowa State, instructing the user to click a link to upgrade their email account. The message states that you may experience problems if you do not click the link to upgrade your account. Remember, we will never request personal information or instruct users to follow links to manage their accounts or install software. Users should delete these emails.

The second message appears to come from the Better Business Bureau and instructs the user to click a link to read information about a formal complaint filed with the Bureau. If you receive this email or another email from a business with whom you do not have a working relationship, delete it.
