Microsoft Agreement for Campus Renewed

This news item expired November 3, 2012. It may contain out-of-date information.

ITS has renewed Iowa State's contract with Microsoft for an additional three years. The Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) replaces the Microsoft Campus Agreement (MCA) the university previously had with Microsoft.

The new EES will continue to provide Iowa State departments and individuals access to many popular software programs, including Microsoft Office and Windows desktop operating systems, as well as Enterprise CAL Suite. Under the new EES, departments can now take advantage of a site license for Core Server products at no additional cost. All products licensed under the agreement are available for use on University-owned or leased equipment. ITS is providing the funding for the new EES program, allowing for significant cost savings to departments across campus.

The new EES program went into effect on September 1. Complete information about EES at ISU is located on the EES page.
