Setting Up a Big Call? Use Meet-Me Conferencing
The new Aastra telephone system offers several methods for starting conference calls. You can conference with a few participants or simply conference in other callers. But if you want to schedule a call where participants dial directly to a local number, Meet-Me Conferencing is available.
It's easy to set up a Meet-Me Conference by filling out the Telephone Meet-Me Conference Request form. You'll need to know the start time, duration and number of callers. You will also need to determine whether or not you want to hear a beep when callers enter and leave the conference. Make sure to submit your request at least 24 hours before the call.
After you submit your request, you'll receive an email with the dial-in number and the conference code to send to all participants.
