Wireless Survey Update: Building Schedule for Week of January 13

This news item expired February 16, 2014. It may contain out-of-date information.

As part of the ongoing effort to increase campus-wide wireless capacity, please be aware that outside contractors are surveying campus buildings.

"Faculty, staff, and students may notice contract workers in their buildings but there will be no disruption of normal building functions," said Jennifer Lohrbach, team lead for ITS Network Engineering. Some surveyors may need access to an auditorium during class time, Lohrbach explained, but the staff members in those classrooms will be contacted individually.

Buildings scheduled for surveys this week include:

  • Black Engineering
  • Coover Hall
  • Eaton Residence Hall
  • Gilman Hall
  • Hoover Hall
  • Martin Residence Hall
  • Nuclear Engineering Laboratory
  • Snedecor Hall
  • Sweeney Hall

The surveyors will have ISU identification. If you are in doubt of a worker's validity, please be sure to ask for credentials. There should be little or no disruption to normal activity. Your cooperation and understanding during this survey process are appreciated. If you have questions, or for more information, contact Jennifer Lohrbach.
