Collaborative Learning Spaces
Collaborative learning spaces (CLS) are available to students only. These spaces are designed for student project meetings and work sessions.
Durham Center has three collaborative learning spaces, fully equipped with office furnishings and media equipment to suit a variety of needs.
Rooms have movable furniture for flexible arrangements to suit what occupants need. Room 110 contains two half-circle tables that make one round table and six chairs. Rooms 112 and 114 each have eight chairs and four rectangular tables that can be pushed together or separated, as needed.
All rooms include:
- Wall-mounted whiteboards and corkboards
- Desktop computer (with Office and Adobe software)
- Ceiling-mounted projector and pull-down projector screen
To connect a laptop using the DVI or Mini DVI port, you will need to bring a DVI or Mini DVI to VGA adapter.
If you encounter issues with any of the equipment, contact the Solution Center.
The Collaborative Learning Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The rooms are unlocked and ready to be used.
This is provided at no charge.
