Core Support

Core Support

ITS provides Core Support to students, staff, and faculty at no charge. Users of the core level of support may be required to provide an Iowa State Net-ID or University ID (ISUCard) number to verify eligibility. Core Support is available for both university-owned and user-owned equipment. Referrals to other resources, such as online help, How Tos, and other publications, may be necessary. Core Support services include:

  • Technical guidance with supported software setup/installation, configuration, connectivity issues
  • Provide basic support for mobile devices, including mail and calendar connectivity, and ISU wireless setup
  • Responses from ITS staff within one business day
