Autodesk’s computer-aided design software includes popular programs like Revit, AutoCAD, Maya, and Inventor. Autodesk allows students to design structures and objects in a 3D environment. The software is beneficial to engineers and designers of all skill levels and is used by professionals around the world.

ERDAS Imagine is a geospatial image processing software available for Windows computers. ERDAS Imagine software includes photogrammetry, image processing and remote sensing tools.

MATLAB, the high-level language and interactive environment, allows users to perform high-level computational tasks quicker than using C, C++, or Fortran. MATLAB can be installed on Windows, Mac, and Unix computers. A full list of available MATLAB products can be found at MathWorks.com.

Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus
Office 365 ProPlus typically includes Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint, and Publisher applications. Office 365 ProPlus is available for students to install on up to five computers (Windows or Mac) and on five mobile devices. License Information: Expires 31 Aug 2018. Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus is available to use at no charge through the Student Advantage Program. The benefits of the ProPlus program will be severed when the student leaves Iowa State, and the software will function in read-only mode until a license or subscription is purchased by the user.
