  • Computer lab.

    Use a Computer Lab

    In addition to the computer stations in Parks Library, there are computer labs across campus. Some are open to all students, while others are reserved for specific disciplines or colleges. These labs are managed by individual colleges and departments, so contact your college’s IT team for more information.

  • Testing center.

    Go to a Testing Center

    Iowa State’s testing centers are computer labs dedicated to facilitating exams and are always monitored by staff. Testing centers are located at:

    Borrow Tech Equipment for Free

    Students can borrow technology equipment for free from the University Library’s Tech Lending Program. This equipment, including iPads, DSLR cameras, microphones, chargers and sound systems, is useful for media-based assignments and student organization activities.

    Many Iowa State students face daily barriers to their educational goals. Digital accessibility aims to remove these barriers by providing accessible hardware and software. In addition to helping make course materials and websites digitally accessible, technology like screen readers and speech and language software are available on campus.
