Cyber Security is essential to the mission of Iowa State University. The ITS department has a dedicated Information Technology Security team that helps safeguard the information and technology used by the Cyclone community. The team accomplishes their work through a combination of modern security technologies, consultative guidance, administrative policies and education. They work with IT teams across campus to ensure that student, faculty and staff data are secure, including personal information, coursework, grades and research.
